FAQs
Collection questions
What are mood-based collections?
We believe that gardening should be about enjoyment not labour so we’ve designed collections of plants that are aimed to make you feel good. This is why each of our collections is carefully curated around the mood you might want to create in your garden.
Calm, Inspired, Curious, Bold and Kind.
Instead of sticking to traditional design rules, we’ve chosen plants for their color, form, feel-good vibes, and of course how easy they are to grow. With our collections, you don’t have to stress about the details—just focus on the vibe!
What are batches?
We create each of our collections in seasonal batches. This is for two reasons: we want to keep the collections unique and original so that you never have the same garden as your neighbour. And curating collections in batches allows us to respond to the seasons, climate and growing conditions - after all nature cannot be controlled - we have to work with it.
Available only for a short time each season, every batch is refreshed regularly but we guarantee that each collection will be consistent with the mood of the collection keeping the defining forms, colours and emotive properties.
Are batches limited in number?
Yes. We only create a limited number of batches each season. This means we don't waste anything which is always good for the planet. So when the batches are gone - they’re gone. However the next batch will be close behind.
When do the batches drop?
We aim to work with nature and create a new batch each season. Keep an eye out for the time counter throughout our website and on our socials which will tell you when a new batch is dropping, or when a current batch will end.
Can I pre-order a batch?
If a batch is still growing and not quite ready to be delivered you can put your name down on the wait-list. We will then send you an email once the plants are ready for their new home. We will contact people on a first-come first-served basis.
Can I order an old batch?
Once the batch has sold out we wont restock that specific mix of plants, Don’t worry though each of our batches is curated for their color, form and feel-good vibes that will always stay consistent with the mood while keeping things original.
Can I plant a new batch with an old batch?
Each batch will complement the previous batches beautifully so for example any Calm collection batch will sit beautifully together.
Plant questions
What plants will I get?
We don’t list exactly which plants you will receive in each batch, however be rest assured they are all tough and easy to grow and have been chosen to beautifully represent the mood of the collection keeping the defining forms, colours and emotive properties. If you want an example of the plants for each collection visit the individual Collection pages for more details.
Are they pet and child friendly?
Yes! We have tried and tested all of these plants in our family (both children and fur-baby) friendly garden.
How many plants will I get?
We pack in 10-15 plants per square metre, this means you’ll have plenty of plants to bring your garden to life.
What will they look like when they arrive?
All plants will be established with a strong root system ready for growing.
In summer all plants will be full of leaves. Where possible we try to leave all flowers on for delivery, however we sometimes may need to cut them down a little so they travel safely.
In winter some plants die back to below soil and hibernate. This is when they look small in the pots with little foliage on top. But no fear there is mightyness in the soil. Come springtime they will start shooting again.
Since plants change throughout the year, don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any concerns!
What size are the plants?
We send out a range of pot sizes. Mostly we use 9cm and 1 litre pots and occasionally 2 litre pots. It is a misconception that a bigger pot means bigger plants. Sadly a larger pot often just means more soil. We believe this is a waste not just of soil but of transport space & energy - and therefore not plant friendly. So where possible we use smaller pots - but in these small pots come mighty plants!
Are your plants easy to grow?
Yes! We believe that gardening shouldn't be a chore. After all, nature knows how to look after itself. We’ve hand-picked the toughest Hardy Perennials which mean they can handle cold winters without needing extra care and will come back year after year.

Can I change the delivery date?
Yes, just get in touch and we can help organise a more suitable delivery time.
What if my order is damaged on delivery?
Please note two things:
Plants are delicate and may get a little bumped during delivery, causing some minor damage like broken stems or leaves. This won’t harm the plant, and isn’t considered major damage.
Please also take into consideration the time of year. In winter some plants look very small above the surface, but do not fear - perennials are like icebergs. There is plenty going on below the surface. Check out further seasonal plant information on our blog.
If you have any questions just get in touch.
Can I change the delivery address?
Yes, just get in touch and we can help organise this.

Care questions
How do I look after my plants
All of our plants are tough and tolerant and generally are happy to be left alone. However if you have any specific questions please feel free to get in touch. Additionally you’ve dipped your toe into gardening and want to learn more, RHS website is a fantastic place to learn more.
How long will they take to grow?
We believe the motto “first they sleep, then they creep, then they leap”.
Sleep
In the first year of being in your garden the plants will be establishing themselves under the soil and will have a good amount of foliage and flowers to show.
Creep
In the second year the plants will start filling out with more foliage and flowers
Leap
In the third year they will be in full glory.
Check out a full explanation in our blog.
Do I need to fertilise my plants?
No. We don’t believe in fertilizing plants in the ground. There are plenty of nutrients in the soil and nature knows how to look after itself.Too much fertilizer, especially one high in nitrogen, can make your plants too soft and scraggly. This leads to floppy stems, as the extra foliage grows too quickly without enough strength to hold it up. Additionally excessive fertilizer use can be harmful to wildlife, which we always want to avoid.
Guarantee
While we offer top-quality plants, nature can be unpredictable, and occasionally a plant may not survive.
We offer a six-month guarantee from the date you receive your plants. If something goes wrong, simply send us a photo of the plant along with your order number. We’ll review it and, if it's our fault, we’ll either replace the plant or issue a refund.
Please note, this guarantee doesn’t cover issues caused by lack of watering or improper care. If care guidelines aren’t followed, we won’t be able to replace the plant, as they can deteriorate quickly without proper attention.
