Fertilizer: it's another one of those gardening "rules" that gets thrown around a lot. But is it really necessary? We say… probably not. Most garden soil is actually pretty healthy and contains the nutrients plants need to thrive. Plus, chemical fertilizers can be harsh on the environment, disrupting the delicate balance of your soil and potentially harming beneficial insects.
At We Say Grow, we believe in a more natural approach. Our curated plant collections are chosen for their hardiness and ability to thrive in a variety of conditions. We believe in working with nature, not against it.
Instead of relying on chemical fertilizers, focus on creating healthy soil. Add organic matter like compost or well-rotted manure to improve soil structure and drainage. This will create a happy home for your plants, allowing them to access the nutrients they need naturally.
So, ditch the fertilizer frenzy and embrace a more sustainable approach to gardening. Your plants (and the planet) will thank you for it. That’s why we pack our collections with between 10-15 plants per square metre. Which some would say is a little generous. We say it gives you loads of value, allows some plants to die without leaving great big holes – and most importantly, gives you incredible impact once they’ve all matured.
Our plant collections are selected for their resilience, so you can enjoy a beautiful garden without the need for harmful chemicals.
